Here at Dunns Houses we use fresh local produce and supply our own eggs. Cooking on an Aga we produce tasty Full English breakfasts, delicious evening meals from our Table d’hôte menu and also our childrens menu.

Dinner is usually served at 7.30pm in our spacious guest lounge, if booked a minimum of 3 days prior to arrival. We offer a mouth watering 4 course Table d’hôte menu designed to suit a variety of tastes, at a set price of £25 per person.

Although we are not licensed to serve alcoholic drinks, you are more than welcome to bring your own drinks, and we will be happy to serve your wine. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Tomato and basil soup served with a bread roll

 Chicken liver pâté served with Cumberland sauce and toast

 Smoked salmon mousse served with toast

 Deep fried brie wedges served with redcurrant sauce

 Suprême of chicken served in a white wine cream sauce

 Pan fried fillet of salmon served with hollandaise sauce

 Northumbrian lamb chops topped with sun-dried tomatoes

and a selection of seasonal vegetables.
